There is no way to get our rate
via the web (although you might get other similar rates for Fri/Sat, it might not happen for Thur. or Sunday.
Make sure no matter how you book the hotel, to get it under the wedding party name, so we know you are there.
FLIGHT INFO
San Jose (SJC) is 10 minutes from the airport. Cab or shuttle (12
bucks), or rental car.
San Jose (SJC) is a smaller and easier airport than San Francisco (SFO).
San Fran, there are shuttle services and car rentals as well, best to look
for the best fare. San Jose is way more reliable and easier to deal with, but San Fran. has a lot more flights.
Oakland (OAK) is another option, not as convenient, but an option. Still only 30 minutes away.
San Francisco (SFO), the major aiport in the area. Only 40 minutes, but if you are coming in during rush-hour on Friday or Thursday, take 101 to Highway 280, much faster than 101
down to San Jose.
CAR RENTALS
Is it possible to live the weekend without a car? Maybe, cab it, or
as we get closer, we will get more details on shuttling people to/from the
airport. For Saturday, the day events and dinner, you will likely need car, but if we are
all at the same hotel, we should be able to coordinate. Plan ahead. If you want to car-pool and share rides
PARKING
(My prices may be off a bit, doing this from memory at the moment)
The hotel has a valet (15 a day)
Across the street has parking (7 or so a day?)
Across the street at the convention center has full-day (in and out privledges) for 12 a day
Two blocks away is free parking on the weekends
NOTE:The wedding is on May 5th, which is Cinco de Mayo! So DON'T be caught getting to the hotel late and having
trouble getting parking!!! I will make sure the valets are ready, willing, and able.
HOTEL
The good news is that the Hotel, the Hyatt Sainte Claire WILL provide us a special rate for the entire weekend,
THUR-SUN night. 99/bucks. Call +1 (408) 885-1234) to book with our wedding party name. It is a very nice old school hotel that Hyatt took over. Excellent service,
amazing food, great location, killer price. You will not find a better deal for a hotel (although I
saw a FEW web hotel rates of 79.95 at the Sainte Claire for just Fri-Sat night, but there are a few (2)
number of rooms available at that rate. But otherwise it is like 170. It is a really fun hotel.
Rooms are small, if you are thinking about a cot for someone for whatever reason it would be very, very tight.
If someone wants a junior suite or bigger rooms (i.e., more expensive), the rates are expensive. They do have connecting rooms.
Book the Hotel directly via phone for the group rate (Telephone: +1 408 885 1234), I encourage people to book early to secure the rate in the room block. It becomes first come-first serve on the rates, so the sooner we all book the better likelihood we can all get the good rate.

Location
National Historic Landmark hotel in the heart of downtown San Jose, across from the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, near San Jose State University, within easy walking distance of restaurants, theaters and cultural attractions.
Directions
From San Jose Int'l Airport (3 miles): Exit Airport Blvd. Turn right on Guadalupe Pkwy. Turn left on Park Ave., then right on Market St. Hotel is on the corner of Market and San Carlos.
